It seems like just a few months ago I wrote about SOPA & the dangers that bill brought with it to threaten the Internet. In any case, CISPA, or Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act H.R. 3523 is the new worst enemy of anyone who uses the Internet.

Without overstating the matter, CISPA is the IRL (in real life) version of George Orwell’s Novel “1984″ except in CyberSpace.

This bill will do exactly what the picture in the post demonstrates. It gives the Government and Corporations exclusive power to do data-mining and sharing of information about you and all Americans without any Judicial overview. ISP's can cut off your Internet service based on an accusation by a corporation that you are violating copyright somehow. They don't even have to prove anything or go to court to do this, they'll simply tell your ISP that they believe you are violating copyright and you are left with no recourse.

Be careful what you write in your FaceBook posts as those will be fair game for data collection and sharing, same thing goes for Twitter.

It's crazy what we're being fed without even knowing it. Turns out what we're eating in the states isn't the same as stuff served in McDonalds in other countries? That is insane.

I don't get why this nation has this obsession with making itself sick. Anyway, just read a really interesting article on this subject.

I read a really good article about the Buffett Rule and it's so simple and easy to understand. Basically it talks about the burden of paying income taxes but making it so the burden is equally spread out.

In other words the middle class will pay what it can afford and the 1% rich will pay a higher percentage that works out to be an equally difficult (or easy) burden as the middle class feel when they pay taxes.

It's based more on ratio's rather than across the board tax hikes to lowerings.
